Tolman got an episode of guest-starring in the role of romance novelist Abby Berman on The Mindy program the following year. In 2015, she played the role of a support in Michael Dougherty s comedy horror movie Krampus. Tolman has the most acclaimed performance in Fargo, declined support roles in the film as mothers, wives and close friends to focus on a role that was more distinctive. Tolman was cast on ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The show lasted for one year. Tolman, who is a Twitter user, said that she had "pretty remarkable" ratings in her role in the ABC drama Emergence. The show premiered in September, but was cancelled after one season that ended on May 21, 2020. Also, she appeared as a guest on the show on NBC called Good Girls. In 2021 she played Alma Filcott in season two of Why Women Kill. Natalie Green appeared in Live on Front of a Studio Audience 3.
